preliminary script draft

Please let me know how this works.... I will try to get Emma to read it tomorrow and would love to hear inputs. Tomorrow, I will also add vectors beside lines so we can get a visual of the script.. thanx, solveig

I am a girl
and I am 11
a so-called tween
so I could also be
9 or 10 or 12
or a boy

I live with my family,
in a neighborhood,
in a city,
in a country,
on a planet
This is my environment
where I call home

It is a place that I am part of and that is part of me
It is a meaningful place
a place where I create my own story
My school
My friends
My family
My dog
My chores
My body
A place where I contribute

Sometimes it feels a little too much, or I feel too little
or it just simply gets too complicated
But I think of things, things that can make my life better,
I observe, I dream, I create, I solve
Suddenly it all comes together as a great idea
like this one
the cog

a cog is an object
that plays a small part in a large organization.
like me

when I recycle
when I walk my dog
when I read for my little sister
when I hug my friend
when I do my best on the word quiz
I make my contribution
My cogs help me remember
When I carry my cogs around I feel confident,
confident that I will contribute
to the place where I call home
to my family,
to my neighborhood
to my country
to my planet
to my environment
